The Pontiac Arena Fund is a community-driven initiative dedicated to preserving and improving the Shawville Arena for generations to come. As one of the region’s most valued gathering places, the arena is home to local hockey, figure skating, community events, agricultural activities, and countless memories shared by families across Pontiac.
Our committee is made up of passionate volunteers who believe this facility is more than just a building—it’s the heart of our community. Through fundraising events, generous sponsorships, donations, and the support of local businesses and residents, we are working to complete essential upgrades that will ensure the arena remains safe, efficient, and welcoming for years to come.
Whether you’ve played your first hockey game here, watched your child take their first steps here, been to the Shawville Fair, attended a community event, or simply believe in investing in the future of Pontiac, you’re an important part of this story.
Together, we’re building more than an arena, we’re preserving a place where our community comes together.
